Proverbs 21:9 list “you surely the wrath of man shall praise Thee; the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain” Psalm 76:10.
With all the events going on in the world, it almost looks like there are no more restrainers or brakes on evil. Russia inevitably looks certain to invade Ukraine either by brute force with tanks and 100,000 troops or to just say they are sending in Russian “peace keeping forces which will never leave.” An estimated 50,000 plus American live and work in Ukraine and would be trapped there. Where is the strong America of yester year that would stop this aggression madman Russian dictator?
This may drive up gas prices to over $5/gallon and possibly create a fuel shortage. USA stock market reacting to this has had some large ups and down swings recently meanwhile Iran maybe closer to making nuclear weapons with its intended target our best Middle East Ally – Israel.
Then the truckers planning on blocking Washington D.C. to protest all the COVID restrictions taking the lead from Canada truckers who paralyzed the supply chain from Canada to USA recently protesting COVID shots etc. Add to that about 3,000 illegals coming over the Texas and Arizona area and other boarders daily many carrying drugs, and they will seek free USA housing and food aid at your tax expense and mine, so where is God in all this? You might ask. “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” Proverbs 21:9.
God only allows so much evil to go on-He causes even the most wicked to be limited in power and humble and brings many to repent of sin and put their trust in God’ Son The Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross for all their sin and rose from the grave. Is Jesus yours by faith alone?
